Nothing Phone 2a To Xiaomi 14 Series, Top Gadgets To Keep An Eye On At Mega Showcase

MWC 2024: Mobile World Congress 2024 is all set to kick off on January 26 in Barcelona. The event is among the most prominent times for the smartphone and gadgets industry, similar to the Consumer Electronics Show 2024. The four-day showcase will conclude on February 29. Top smartphone and tech companies have shared a sneak peek of what to expect from them at MWC 2024.

Here are the top updates on the expected products we know about the MWC 2024.

Nothing’s Fresh Eyes: The London-based smartphone maker is gearing up to showcase something at the “Nothing to see” event. Rumours are rife that the company may reveal details about the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) at the tech showcase.

Xiaomi 14 Series: While Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date (February 25) of the Xiaomi 14 series for the global markets, the company may plan to showcase the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at MWC this year (which was recently launched in China). Apart from the flagship handsets, the Chinese tech company may also showcase a range of accessories such as TWS and earbuds and its Xiaomi SU7 car.

OnePlus Watch 2: After launching the OnePlus 12 series, Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is now gearing up to launch the Watch 2 at MWC 2024. It will also debut in India on February 26.

Lenovo Transparent Screen Laptop: According to Windows Report, Lenovo may showcase its transparent laptop concept next to other ThinkBook machines at the tech show.

Expectations from Google and Samsung: Considering it will be massive days jam-packed with smartphone innovations, the Android maker could step up to introduce an update on AI or Android at the event. While Samsung has not teased a major product showcase yet, the company may have some reserve in its AI bank to present at this year’s MWC.

Other Expectations: T-Mobile is gearing up to introduce a phone that will not run on apps and use AI for entire functions. Honor may present a range of smartphones at the ‘Discover the Magic’ event (which may include foldables). Tecno may showcase the successor to its Phantom V Fold smartphone next to a rollable phone and other AI technologies.

Moreover, TCL is reportedly gearing up to launch a range of foldable phones. Plus, the word is out loud that HMD Global could also showcase a range of products different from the Nokia lineup to build its independent identity as a smartphone maker. Lastly, Apple will likely remain absent from the event.
